Gas Leak?

The gas guage no lomger goes all the way past F like it used to.When I fill it up and do highway driving it gets low to mid 30mpg. When I fill it up and go back and forth to work for a couple weeks it gets high teens! It seems loke gas is leaking or evaperating, but I don't see/smell any.Seems to run fine?Could this be the filler neck leak?Thanks Rocky

i've had to replace all of my 1993 fuel lines, but I could smell it.. especially after i topped-off the tank.

check your exhaust for extra black soot too see if you're burning rich.
sometimes you may blast soot out onto your driveway if you start the car and rev it up.
