BOV s all the major players ....
« on: May 26, 2009, 02:59:00 PM »

well, with so much talk of blow off valves as of late.. i thought i would compile a bov thread with pics of all the common bov choices on the market....Enjoy

this is a newer HKS ssqv ..this is what rocket and i are running on our cars ...this is a great bov for our cars.. it dosent leak under idle vaccuume like others can messing up the idle...

this is a blitz direct drive BOV....i also have one of theese that i had on my car for a while.
they make a loud woosh under high boost.

this is a greddy rs BOV... its the fanciest greddy offering,, and is copied like crazy on ebay...

also copied like crazy.. is the less fancy type s
BOV also from greddy.. its basically a less fancy cheaper type rs.. theese are great if your just looking for a bov to replace your stocker and want to recirculate. hose will go right on the end of them to recirc.

this is an apex integration twin chamber BOV..
very high end.. alot like a txs rfl... prolly not good for a mild boosted setup (under 14psi)

this is the turboxs Really Fricken Loud (RFL)
alot like an apexi there not the best for low boost levels.

this is a tial bov.. not one usually copied.. tial makes some of the most tried and true turbo equipment on the planet...

this is the synapse synchronic BOV...very nice and ive never seen a knockoff or copy
if i was gonna buy another bov this is what i would buy ..its alot like a ssqv but a bit cleaner and recircable without a special kit ...
well yall those are the 8 biggies youl hear about in the bov world .. im sure i missed a couple mfgrs. but i got the biggest ones i think..
if you have any further questions just ask thats why we come on here yall...

i owned Blitz on my skylines i had in Japan,

had the HKS on the Cedric in Japan

have a knock off Greddy RS now on the capri. i loved the HKS sound the best.

i had a friend who added some plastic wire tubing to the end of his greddy and drilled some random holes in it and when it would vent it kinda sounded like a flute. it was cool. especially at the street races when he would burn out... might be cheasy but good for a nice laugh sometimes

would be also nice to see something similar to BPV's. I have a Forge that used to be running in an evo.
