Stock boost gauge prob
« on: May 30, 2010, 08:53:00 AM »

Okay, so about a week ago I took my hard top off and put the soft top up. well when I put the soft top down the next day the soft top caught the dome light pig tail and crushed it. 1 day later the clock went out but backlight still works, then the reading lamps went out...and now 2 week later the boost gauge is acting really funny. when I turn the ignition on the boost gauge goes to 6 psi and when i start car and rev it it goes up to 1 inch back 15psi. its acting like its a TPS. more throttle i apply the higher the boost gauge goes. the car seems to run fine but does anyone have a clue about what this could be.
sorry about the wall of text.

that pigtail is also for the defrost...that goes to the dash. check and make sure that you do not have wires shorting out where it got caught..
