check the coolant sensor on the thermostat housing...if the wire is off the fan will run constantly otherwise the sensor is bad

I just checked mine too, and its connected. My bet is on the switch and it kinda seems expensive, doesn't it?

i know mine is connected,

is that switch the same one sending the signal to the gauge?

my guess is on the relay.

if i have time this weekend i will trouble shoot it.

i got the spare parts to swap into it

In most cars there are 2 sensors. One for the fan and the other one for the guage. The one for the guage is usually made of copper all the way and for the fan there is a lot of plastic use.

Its one of the relays on the back of the driverside headlight bucket.

The sensor for it is on the t-stat housing, I wanna say the front sensor with the blade style connector? I think if you disconnect or ground the sensor the fan should operate.

Thanks, I will try and look into within a few.

The connection is connected, it is a 2 prong one. That is why I need to check the relay.

Looks like I also have a coolant leak somewhere and need new front wheel bearings. I need to get these fixed, then get a job and then start modding with rocketchip and all.
