Title: 1991-93 Capri, what is different about the 94
Post by: Zach Reisinger on June 30, 2009, 10:54:00 AM
Hey everyone, I am purchasing a 1994 Mercury Capri, base model 140k miles and its $1000. I have heard that the 94 is different than the others of that generation, and I was wondering if anyone here could tell me the difference between those. Also I am in need of a drivers side fender and front bumper, preferably red, but if not thats ok. I live in Charlotte , NC and I need these parts bad, if anyone knows of a good place to find these parts or you yourself have them available, please let me know. I look forward to becoming part of the Capri family. And I also look forward to hearing from all of you.

As far as i'm aware (there are others who are more aware) the main differences is that you have a passenger side air bag, and different bumpers and side skirts.

Zach-
The following items are different:
bumpers
side mirrors
Turn signal and running light lenses
interior (black)
center console
door panels
rub strip (on side of car)
3rd brake light
p/s airbag

There may be more, but that's what I can remember.

I have a 94 parts car, and I do have a front bumper, although it's not in the best of shape. I may also have a fender, but I'm not sure at the moment.  Feel free to email me at Cougar1prod@comcast.net
