Found this site from the DSM world....You can get the paint to match from this site and the prices are not that bad. Good feedback on those that used it....

I like my charcoal metallic.  The Capri silver is still a production color by Duplicolor and Ford.

What I really need is my Sky Blue Metallic for my Geo.  That site denies Geo as a Manufacturer.  (http://tongue.gif)

You can get any color paint you want for any car you want just bring your color code from the VIN to an automotive body supply shop and they'll mix it on the spot. You can buy single stage or 2 stage (Color and clear coat). Names change with year and model but the color is the same mix. Cardinal Red and Le Mans Red are the same mix. One name for the early Capri's one for the 94.

As far as Geo being a manufacturer it isn't, you own a Suzuki. Geo is an import brand name given by GM to Suzuki's.

Well no fooling it's a Suzuki, doesn't make the Sky Blue Metallic a more common color.   (http://tongue.gif)

But as far as a color code, I honestly don't have one.  I believe it was on the spare tire cover and the sticker's ink wore away.

I know GM has RPO codes, we dont?

Just curious as to how you'd determine the color via a VIN, i've never done that before. According to this is has nothing to do with paint:

Actually.  If you contact a dealer they can give you the original paint code via a reverse vin lookup.  As in they use dealer information about THAT specific VIN.
