I had it to a local shop and the body guys gave it a nice glow, via the buffer. And before anyone says it...yes I do have '94 NA wheels on my 92 XR2. I like the softer ride, and the tires are cheaper. I still have the original triad wheels; with center's.

I feel like I could drown in that clearcoat. Your car has amazing paint. Am I going to get to see it at any meets this year?? ;)

Wow, is that original paint?
I like the black top, wanna trade with me :D I have red.
That's what I'm planning to do with mine once I get it painted. instead color match, i'll just go for black hard top.

Well first off, I had the car repainted, in a normal back alley garage, by a friend of mine. He did use a base coat/clear coat. However, I switched reds. The color is "Chevy Wild Fire Red". I think it was on the 2002 Silverado. Have the number some where. It had its share of some orange peal in it. I was at a local dealership picking up a part for one of the company cars from work when the owner came out and saw my Capri. The service manager told him that I had brought a lot of business to them in the last year. He said that he hadn't seen one of these in a while; and mine was in need of some minor work to get the red to really shile. The owner told me that my car needed some 3000 grit paper used on it and buffed...then he told the service guy to take care of it. It was a win/win for me... I took the pics before I picked it up on Friday.
When are the meet's scheduled...got one kid in college this year...like to bring both Capri's if I can.
