Post by: Heavensheros on August 13, 2009, 10:31:00 AM
So i just finished removing my ac condenser pump and all the hoses and what not.

What can i use to plug up those holes in the fire wall where the pipe came off, also do i need to plug that plug back into where that plug was. and also let me know if im missing anything else or anything else i need to do.

if its the one on the condenser i cunt mine and capped it off with some heat shrink.

for the ac lines on the firewall i got some plugs at autozone and capped mine off

so now tthat the ac is removed i was wondering do i need that box that is connected to the dryer/receiver behind the glovebox. also the wires that plugged into that box and the wires that pluged into the condenser and fan can i cut those wires and the cu the plug off that plugs into the dash ? or how can i remove all that wireing so its out of the way.

You can take it out but you need the piece that connects the blower box to the duct work/vents. Find a Capri in a wrecking yard with no a/c and grab it...or maybe even a BF series 323.

What exactly is your problem? I removed all the A/C equipment from the engine bay including the relays and wire harness. I did not touch anything under the dash.

well under the dash there is a Box that was connected to the evaporator that sais nippondenso on it and it goes to part of the wiring from outside and i was wondering if i need that box ... from my manual it looks like it is the a/c control amp. and if i can remove this i can cut the wires that go from the outside engine bay to the cabin connecting this box.

and how did you remove the wire harness and relays cut ? or do they all come out somehow cleanly.

i say as long as it is A/C only and does not use it for the heater...remove it

i plan on taking out all the extra stuff in the engine bay when i paint/replace my engine and plan on all the crap inside when i remove the dash to paint it.

you are ahead of me on that one
