Power window motor fell out
« on: April 12, 2012, 12:46:00 PM »

So my power window motor fell out of my driver's door after the rivets pulled out somehow. My idiot brother who had borrowed my car decided that he had to put the window up and down a dozen times with it rattleing in the bottom of the door, even though he had to pull up on the window to get it to go up.  long story short, even though i reattached the motor to the door it jams at about halfway up due to the sheath for the cable pulling out of the motor and having a cut in it where the cable cut it from running. Is there anyway to fix it without buying a new motor, cable, and regulator assembly?  Also what is the best way to get said assembly out of the door?
