We're good for 11:00 on Saturday.  I suggest we take IL 26 and follow the river, then we could just head up toward Sterling or Dixon.  It's a nice stretch of road and about a 2 hour drive.

Unfortunately, We'll have to head back to Springfield that afternoon, since we volunteered to handle phones for our Public Radio Station's fundraiser Sunday morning.

Maybe we can pick up a a few more interested parties between now and then.  That's not too far from Bob's hood so maybe he can join us.  Tony and Rocky - see you then!

C'mon Illinois Capri owners, let's rock & roll -Saturday at the Sonic Drive-in at 4305 N Sterling Ave,Peoria Il 61615.

11:00 a.m. We head north on 26 along the river to points north.  It will be about a 2.5 hour drive.  We'd accept Kentuckians if any were interested (JOE), or Illinois Medical Professionals (Dr. BOB), but I guess that's proof we're accomodating.

Hope to see some of you...

I wanna go!  But I can't!  I'll be on a mission for Capridom.....I'm heading to Ohio to check out Dick Runyons 45+ Capris. I'll shoot plenty of pictures, though.......

We just got back. It was great meeting everybody and we had a lot of fun time with the group. 4 cars,7 people and a pretty tasty lunch. I am sorry we didn't join you all for the drive up the Illinois River,but my wife had a great time visiting her old college,work places etc.We should plan something next spring or get together in the winter to work on one the Capris.Tony,your car is coming along,Mark yours is perfect,I am envious,Dr Bob you already Know yours is the best on the planet.Thanks for a great day,Rocky.
