www.car-part.com will honestly be your best bet.

Is a manual conversion out of the question? Would be a lot more reliable

would love to do a manual conversion.  i saw where one owner out here did a conversion, but i haven't seen anything out of him since.

I can help you with a Trans . Auto or a five speed f series conversion kit .
78,000 mile auto Trans 150.00 or 150.00 for the conversion kit . Let me know if your interested. I'll be heading to hendersonville nc next weekend and might be able to drop it off .

Are you by chance coming through east Tennessee? I would be interested in the auto if Grant doesn't want it. I'd love to have a backup. I'd even pay shipping if you want to go that route. Central Transport use to ship any pallet for $85. That was back in 2007 so it's more for sure but worth it.

what does the conversion kit entail?  (knock wood - the transmission began behaving correctly a couple weeks ago)
