I've been trying to organize a northeast meet for a few years now, there was a small one two years ago that Rick Barnes setup that had a few cars show up.
I'm thinking one of two dates - both Saturdays - September 26th or October 3rd. Which date works better for people?
Location would be in the Poconos, Eastern pa. The town specifically would probably be East Stroudsburg, its right off Route 80 so its easy to get to. We could also somewhere like Delaware Water Gap which is also right off the highway.
Itinerary is very rough at this point, what do you all want to do? There arent any local tracks to race, I'd prefer just a get-together instead of racing. I was thinking of meeting for lunch, we could meet at a restaurant for lunch or go to a park and get subs or barbeque or something like that. We could also cruise to the world famous Hot Dog Johnnys stand which would be a great place to eat and socialize.
We could drive through the Delaware Water Gap or along river or something. What do you all think?
