how hard is it to remove the valve cover to change the gasket. is just as simple as move pipe and remove screws and pop off or is there important steps i should know of ?

Yup, you know it. Just remove it, remove the old gasket, clean the base, install the new one, some people like to use black silicone with it at some places.

Screw back the valve cover.

VC bolts should be a little more than wrist tight using a wrench. Dont forcefully tighten them.

You should carefully clean each corner and use some red or black RTV sealant as said above, at the corners of each camshaft cap and also the dizzy cap

ok thanks for the advice i was told also to use some silicone to keep the gasket in place idk im having a friend who is real good with cars put the gasket back on and such.
