I'm running a ACT Heavy Duty pressure plate with a Super Street disk. Never had it slip even with a tbird turbo at 17psi...

I had an eBay clutch from a company called XTD - its an OEM style pressure plate with a pretty decent clutch disk, that held up pretty well as a performance stock clutch. They're pretty cheap too, I'd recommend them if you're on a budget.

I did buy a really cheap clutch kit on ebay - I forget the brand if it even had one, it was ~$60 - it slipped like crazy even at stock boost levels. Stay away from a clutch like that.

As far as a Rocketchip goes, see www.werbatfik.com/ecu.htm and shoot an email to rocketman[AT]werbatfik.com ; I'll get you chipped in no time!

well im running a full faced ACT organic double sprung disc, and a centerforce 2 pressure plate and mine eats tires, and has never slipped...

im also making real close to 200hp and have had a best time of 13.6 at 100mph...
if you go with a unsprung disk like a 4 puck, your clutch will be an on / off switch and be very touchy, and hard to deal with in traffic...

i would suggest getting a centerforce 2 if you can find it.. also i have a centerforce 2 disk if you want it.. ill give it to ya if you pay to ship it...Joe, rci customs....

i tried it, and it worked great. i dunno i like to frig with shit....
oh oh and to say i got a hybrid turbo and a hybrid clutch....LOL

yea, its actually the disc that came off the 323gt that the P P in the picture came with....

its not brand new, but if you clamp it with a new thickness PP wether act or centerforce it will hold 200 hp and then some... this will just save ya an extra 150.00 or so to put elsewhere in your car ...

but now your locked in, and ya gotta post some new pics...LOL

be good ...Joe
