In place of rear seat...Speakers.
« on: September 18, 2010, 02:19:00 PM »

Just thought you guys could use a laugh... Because I'm going to mount my seats farther back for my leg comfort. I'll use the 'back-seat' area for packages (like a run for groceries). I don't need the padded back of the rear seat so I made a speaker 'box' that makes use of any & all available space (does not stop the top from going down properly). It fits in just like the stock back pad plus extra available depth into the top storage area. I stripped the stock fabric from the seat & back so the speaker box would 'blend-in' with the door panel fabric. 10" sub-woofers & horn tweeters (powered by an extra amp), the 5x7s & some new 2-way speakers in the doors plus some tweeters mounted inside from where the mirrors are mounted.
