High current alternator

I talked to a shop in Denver that will rebuilt the 85A alternator to 130A for ~$150.

Any thoughts or concerns about that upgrade?

I would personally upgrade the wires going to the Alt & Starter from the battery...Its suggested in any other car that I have seen higher output Alts installed on.

I am working on a bracket for Josh that mounts a 200A Ford 3G alternator to the engine, using the 4-rib belt. This will mount it to the front of the engine, though. I may work on something similar to mount it to the rear of the engine, with a pulley conversion to delete the crappy V-belt

Upgrading the wiring is a good idea. Not sure how I feel about re-wiring the stock alt. I know people do/have done it but I wonder about reliability

Which car is it from? Because I have the 3G upgrade on my 5.0 I just picked up & it is 130amp OEM

 http://www.racesystems.com/3gproj/index.htm

there is a 200amp one available from this site

Same ones?

Some gee wiz on the upgrading the wires. Its a requirement or the warranty is voided on that site.
