Title: 1994 XR2 Rear Suspension
Post by: rcdraco on February 04, 2011, 02:17:00 PM
What is the difference between the XR2 and base in 94 that makes the rear suspension better?

I dont think the rear suspension is any different?

IIRC, suspension-wise the 94 XR2 has

-Tighter ratio steering rack
-Factory "lowering" springs for about 1" drop
-Balljoint ends on the from swaybar instead of links & bushings
-Maybe a slightly more aggressive strut?

Where did you hear it is "better"??

I must've read wrong, I thought midco said the rear was modified.  The rear tire pressure does differ though. 30/28 base I believe, 30/30 on 94 XR2's. So basically if I get the drop springs and a nice set of struts it's pretty much the same, excluding the front sway bar end links.
