Turn Signal Pod Removal Help?
« on: March 15, 2016, 03:55:00 PM »

Hey all, I'm starting to take apart the car for a repaint on the front. Body works all done just got to mask/prime. It seems as though the turn signal pods are connect by wire with no plug insight, is that correct, or is it hiding? If so how does one go about removing the pods? Im talking about the front light/signal pod not anything else.

PIA to get at with headlites in, passenger side wiring comes in to front side of washer bucket , driver side come out about 1/3rd way  down along side radiator. You can jiggle them around to see them, good luck unplugging them in the tight space.
Got mine apart and cleaned up followed with a good coat of di electric grease, come apart real well now .

Did wire my side marker to turn signal wire, pretty cool to have a side blinker on front, haven't done back...yet !
