Coolant overflow tank

I should know this, but...  On the coolant overflow reservoir (behind drivers side headlamp assembly), there is one line that connects the reservoir to the radiator.  To what does the other line connect?

That other line is just the drain...In case the overflow overflows! It just hangs down along side the transmission and drains out to the ground.
