Thunderbird Injectors ??
« on: December 06, 2009, 04:22:00 AM »

Turbo coupe 1988. I have a set of Tomco 35lb injectors..around 400cc I believe and low impedance. Will they work in the B6T with a bigger turbo?
Thanks
Clay

they are 390cc and yes if you make a resistor box to run low impediance injectors.. they will work great.... almost perfect match for a t-bird or mitsubishi 14b turbo....

if i were planning to run the 14b i am currently, for good.. i would pick up a set for myself to get rid of the running stupid rich...
but i plan to run a 16g in the future so ive already got the 450cc dsm units....

the t-birds are suppose to be 370cc brown tops and the dsm grey tops are 390cc

be sure and get a resistor box like Joe mentioned.

I have run the grey tops and while the car runs fine with no real side effects, I did notice a decrease in gas mileage with my grey tops.

Yea...35x10.5= 367.5 cc   These are all black with a blue band..Tomco aftermarket for the Tbird. Stock B6t's are 330cc I think... but 368-370 and a Walbro should work better with the Tbird compressor.
