Has anyone ever replaced their door bushings on their capri's? Local Ford dealer says its no longer available from them. My doors are starting to sag a little bit and I'd like to repair them before it becomes a major issue. Russ,do you have any for sale? Thanks  :cool:

Uh, I just checked at mine, not sure how exactly you intend on replacing them.  Looks like the actual hinge pin/bushing is a pressed assembly, and the hinges are bolted to the door and body.

Make sure they're aligned correctly and that they aren't damaged from rust.  Unless you're referring to an earlier capri model, in which case look at a set for a mustang, should be similar.

If you can press it out, you might be able to make something.  More then likely you'll have to buy a good used complete hinge unless you're brave and know what you're doing.  Unless there was a design change in the doors from my car compared to the '92 and ups.
