blowoff valve
« on: December 02, 2022, 01:47:39 PM »

Does anyone have or know where I can get a blowoff valve for the turbocharger on my Xr2? I also still need 1 fog light housing. Anyone??? Also, anyone know where I can have my new soft top installed reasonably? Not sure I want to attempt it myself. Thanks. John

Welcome to the community. You can get generic blowoff valves from eBay pretty cheap. The fog light housing pretty rare. As for installing the top, it isn't bad. Just finicky. I've done three. You'll want to do it when it's warm unless you have heat. Use high temp contact cement. The Stayfast tops are a lot nicer than the plastic ones and last longer.

Thanks greywolf, I did notice the blowoff valves on Ebay but wasn't sure how good they are. Also, I did purchase a Stayfast top but was still hoping to install it with someone who has replaced them before. Anyone in the Lehigh Valley, PA area reading this?! Oh, and by the way, we've had previous correspondence. I joined this group in July 2021. John
