Making 200hp
« on: January 14, 2015, 09:06:34 PM »

Tried searching to find some numbers on a simple build and wonder how close to 200hp I can get. Here are some considered upgrades.
2.25 or 2.5 exhaust
Fmic and piping
Rocket chip
Vj11/vj14 hybrid
Air filter adapter boost control
Want to stay low teens on boost
Any thoughts or advice would be great
Motor currently has less than 81,000

That should get you to around 190 at the crank and are all of the most common bolt on upgrades.

If you push the boost to 16psi with the 14/11 hybrid (which is safe to do if you're chipped) you can hit just over 200hp

Add some suspension mods and better wheels/tires in there to help apply the power and you'll be in good shape. your plan looks solid

It can but you have to get creative with the pipe routing.
