what is the name or part # of the valve on the firewall to the fuel regulator? the people at autozone don't know what it is

Its just a solenoid valve... it closes when the engine is re-started hot to keep fuel pressure up. Its not really a critical part, is it giving you problems?

Ditch it and run vac source straight to the regulator, you'll be fine.

it was giving me problems it ran for 10 min. then died after a day it started for another ten min. i was checking the grounds and vacum hoses i tried to pull the hose that goes to the top of it and brocke the niple i unpluged the whole thing sprayed starter fluid and run good with out it.

drbob     i had to buy some equipment to make them my self to sell them at a better price i still need a mill/lathe combo to do it faster and,i just moved  and i found out i dont have 220v anywhere but im still working on making some  ill send u a private message to let you know a bout the price  i think russ wants to sell them im not sure but ill work something up with you.
