will not start.

Engine turns over but will not fire.
Fires and briefly runs if fuel is sprayed into throttle body.
Are the fuel injectors protected by a fuse?
If they are where is it located?
It is not shown on any of the wiring diagrams I have.
The car has spark and fuel but will not start.
Started and ran well before a replacement throttle cable was fitted.
any ideas?

Is it possible you have the throttle cable/stop adjusted too tight, forcing the throttle plate fully closed at idle? It won't run with no air.
