Ohhhhhh I see, it isn't blowing cold. Have you pressure tested the system? It may have spring a leak and lost all of the refrigerant. Usually at parts stores you can find cans of freon that come with cheap, simple AC gauges. Unfortunately, I've only ever seen them for R-134a refrigerant. I'm pretty sure the Capri uses R12. You'll probably need to track down a set of gauges specifically for an R12 system. If it's empty, good luck finding someplace that can refill it. You'll probably be better off converting to R-134. Also, if it did leak out, you'll need to find and repair the leak. The easiest way to do that is to inject a UV dye into the system, then check all the components with a black light and yellow glasses. I've seen it leak everywhere from the lines, to the fittings, the condenser, etc. etc. You'll have to check everything.
Oh, another thing you can check. Make sure that the clutch on your AC compressor is properly engaging and disengaging. Just have someone sit in the car and toggle the AC on and off while you watch the front of the compressor.
