Has anyone converted to sealed beam projectors?

What are you thoughts?

What brand?

How much?

Where did you find them?

There are Hella H4 conversion lense kits that are very high quality but they're not projectors.

There's a whole bunch of kits listed if you google "4x6 Projector", a lot of them are very cheap though so I question the quality

I've had a long running project trying to mod full High/Low projectors in from another car, and making the headlights with a permanent "sleepy - eye" mod    Finding assemblies that will fit with the little space available is proving to be a challenge though

There is a capri that has ford contour headlights on it.  I'd say either that or a mark VII should have lights that don't require too much cutting.

My coworker took pictures of it when he saw it, apparently the guy is in PA and drives it often.  I'll see if he can send them if he has them.  I saw it up close once, it almost looks factory if I didn't have mine parked up the street.

I was just looking at those lights on ebay. Looks good on the RX7.

Also remembering you, Rocket, had a picture of it placed on a capri.

There were my plans...

S13 Headlights, Go perfect with the current marker lights just a little bigger. Very easy swap a body friend of mine said.

here is a 1G eclipse with it done, where i got the idea because the front ends of both cars are really similar

I always thought a mark VIII or a contour would be a nicer fit, and they're a bit more common.

I kinda like the one posted from Thailand.
Get rid of the signal and side marker and maybe the front groove.
Looks something similar to this.

I like those. You guys said 4x6 and those would fit huh?

Anyways been thinking of going hid. Thats a real kit right? Everything needed. Op check em out if they are. I know hid kits are expensive. The bulbs go for 100 a pop at my work >.> this one comes with 2 6000k bulbs and the whole kit.

Anyone do the conversion? Any one not like it and why?

Antoinette has HIDs, and I love them (when they work). However, the kit appears to be a cheap one, and they weren't installed well (sorry, Anthony, but its true......). I will be upgrading them this winter, with better ballasts, and a proper wiring job.

Those appear to be the same, should just be replaceable with the H4666's in the car.  Just make sure you find somewhere safe to mount the resistor boxes.

Those might work, with minor modification, that inside tab seems to be the only part you'd have to change really.  And locking out the lift setup, obviously.  Just a matter of doing the job completely and disassembling the thing you just bought to get it painted to match.  Might need to get the quad taillights and round foglights to pull that all together though.  Does look slightly out of place on a boxy car like this.
