not screwed on, plastic posts went in the holes I think.  If I remember correctly (which is in doubt because of my advanced yers) Mine came off shortly after I got her, 11 years ago.

Just as an FYI for those that come after us this is what I discovered; No it is not screwed on. If you ever want to replace it, you can use Dental Floss to cut through the double sided tape. Once the emblem is removed, you can clean up the tape with something like "Goo-B-Gone" or just soap and water like I did.

Ok, so I got to admit. I love the car; I love the style, love the design, pretty happy with the driving experience; not too keen on Driving a car named after Girl pants.

I took off the emblem to replace it with a  Decepticon Emblem

I figured our cars are SO rare, no one has any idea what they are anyways. I got the front emblem, the hubcap centers and a small emblem for the trunk.

I would not be surprised if some kid asks me if my car is a robot in disguise. After all, our cars have a such a unique design, few really knows when it was built or what it is and everyone under 16 is younger than our cars anyways.

Actually, the Capri name first appeared on a car back in the 50's, as the Lincoln Capri, long before the capri pants became popular in the 60's.  Not that it matters much, as the Capri car was actually named after an Italian island, apparently.

Dr Bob I did a Med Cruise in the same time period. I was on the USS Richmond K Turner CG-20. They had the Hydrofoil boats that went out there.
