Engine light issue 1990 SA capri

Hello everyone,  i was gifted a rough condition 1990 ford capri SA here in Australia.

Been dealing with electrical issues/funny business and have fixed almost everything but the engine light doesn't illuminate when ignition is turned on like its supposed to and nither does my seat belt light but dont think mine has that due to nothing wired into seats ect but could be wrong

Iv followed alot of the wires under dash and every fuse is good, car runs fine except for when warms up it seems to rev search alittle which i thought would pop an engine light.

Iv also removed the dash and checked the bulb and replaced but to no avail
