Clubsprint
« on: August 25, 2014, 01:54:26 PM »

Anyone interested in a new production run of "Clubsprint " style Bar/Bumpers and Capote ? I am willing to do the plug and molds if there is any interest . If so What will everyone interested be willing to pay ?
My feelings are that a rounder front and rear will give an updated look to our autos .

I'm interested in the backseat cover for $400 shipped.  I was waiting for Russ's.

My price reason:
$5 per sheet fiberglass, 7 layers should be good = $35
$15 resin per qt. 3 cans should be ok = $42
Total $77, add on assessories brushes and etc, make it $100

 $400
-$100 shipping
 $300
-$100 parts
 $200 labor and profits

Also like the tail lights without the bumper.
With or without the lights.

Capritain ;
The hella lights  can be had from flea-bay 59.00 ea
as for your method of cost is flawed as you have to spread out the cost to produce the plug and mold . Sell enough then these costs get minimal .

Rear bumpers are great, integrating the lights into the bumper.  $400???  Maybe offer a rectangular rear light look, the old corvette look is cool, but soft rectangles suit the car better, not big circles.

Front end, not my favorite... adding big round lights to a hidden headlight car doesn't work for me... stock 94 front end still looks best to me.

Hella lights?
I read somewhere Russ had on his red one, the tail lights is separate from the bumper, but same looks.

Thanks for the pics Mike.  Personally,  the front is so-so, but I don't like the back at all.  The front is too round and I like the stock rear, but want a center exhaust.  Guess I'll just keep looking.

Thanks, Jack Byrd

Me neither, a fan of the round bumpers.
I just like the lid and tail light(part of the bumper) of the clubsprint.
I like Razzi body kit and what Matt has because it's rare.

As a little update to this thread:
BubbleTop production is moving along nicely...Anticipated sale/availability date is Black Friday, 2014. Price has NOT been set as of yet, however I am still shooting for a MSRP of $400.

After successful completion of the BubbleTop plug and mold, and after the Bubble tops go on sale, I want to begin production of the "HalfSprint" tail light panel (picture below). Price has not been set on these, as we have not yet begun production.

Please send any inquiries/comments to me at CapriTypeR@Gmail.com, 503-919-4227, or PM me here.

I can't wait.  Hope I still have my car next spring-fall.

Where do the backup light attach to?

I chose not to use reverse lights on my car, so the choice of lights was easy. If you want to use reverse lights, simply choose a lens style that incorporates one in it....
