Title: Clutch Slave Cylinder
Post by: navid on March 07, 2021, 11:59:15 PM
From what I’ve read, I was having symptoms of a bad slave cylinder. Bought a new one and jacked the car up to swap it out. It looks like the cross member is right underneath it and would need to come out to access it.

I looked at CapriTech and searched this forum and nothing is said that the crossmember needs to come out. Can someone confirm that I just need to make due with what little space is there?

If you undo the two nuts on the front transmission mount from the underside of the crossmember, you can then use a jack with a piece of wood under the transmission to tilt the drive train backward.

Doing this will make the job way easier.
