i need help

How do i take the cam gears off and do they go on one way? I replaced the head gasket and the timing belt guard bent and is stuck on one of the idler pully. I dont want to take the head off again.

You'll need to put a wrench on the camshaft (on the hexagonal part, under the valvecover), I usually use a large adjustable one. The cam gear is held on by a 14mm bolt, it'll break loose once you stabilize the camshaft.

There are alignment pins on cams that slot into the gears, use the I slot for the intake and the E slot for the exhuast

whats the easiest way to get the crank pully off and do this timing belt? I need to get this car on the road and am lacking the funds to have someone do it for me

Easiest way I've found is to remove the fuel injector harness so the engine has no chance to start; and then put a socket or tire iron on the crank and jam it against the axle or something solid on the car.

Play with the key to smack the starter a few times, usually it'll break free right away, don't overdo it.
