It takes quite a bit. I did it earlier this year. Here's a list:
-Turbo engine (or at least turbo specific parts - manifold, turbo, oil lines, coolant lines, fuel injectors, etc - if you choose to stick with a high compression block)
-G-type trans from XR2 (other g-types will not work)
-Clutch cable
-Cable clutch pedal assembly
-Flywheel from XR2 or BP engine car
-XR2 clutch kit
-XR2 axles (d/s + p/s along with midshaft)
-XR2 or "large" style brakes (not totally necessary but why wouldn't you? Some N/A's have these already)
-XR2 engine wire harness
-XR2 ECU
-XR2 sensors
-XR2 airflow meter
-XR2 intercooler piping or other intercooler of your choice
-Boost gauge, aftermarket preferable
Its easiest if you have an entire parts car to pull from, otherwise if you are grabbing parts separately it gets really frustrating.
The swap is fairly straightforward, if you are going from automatic you will need some more parts yet as well such as a shifter. One of the harder parts of the swap is swapping the pedal assemblies, it involves removal of the steering column.
