My '94 XR2 top has a metal tab that sticks out right where the rear corner of the window meets the weather stripping.  My '93's top does not have this tab and I'm not sure how to adust it short of removing the top and reinstalling it.

The problem is the passenger side window glass hits it and it has already chipped the corner of the window.  I can push the tab up and out of the way with my hand, but it eventually works its way back down into the path of the glass.  I'm concerned the door is going to get slammed one day and the glass will shatter.

Anybody got a fix for this?  Thanks.

keep the top down?

Yeah, it's different in Illinois.  When it gets cold, I might wear a leather jacket and stocking cap, and run the tonneau with the top down and the heater on.  But when it rains, I actually have to have the top up here in the non-southwest.

But there must be an adjustment to get this tab away from the top of the window.  This top was newly-installed by the former owner and I don't think he even had it up long enough to fit it properly.
