Hi all, has anyone ' re routed ' their rear brake lines , rather than dropping fuel tank ?? Got a leaker and would like any suggestions based on experience. Thanks , Pappy

And then what if the tank needs to be dropped? :D
Having seen some shoddy brake line work, I would not advise this. It needs to be supported every few inches to prevent vibrations causing stress cracking in the lines.
Dropping the tank is not a terribly painful job on this car (providing you can remove the mounting bolts without snapping them or twisting the mounts)
A several day course of pre-emptive PB blasting will help :)

That's why I asked ! Do have a well seasoned mechanic looking into it , will check it out and maybe as a last resort ..if need be, remove tank . Should not be hard to drop considering it was replaced almost 2 years ago . Will keep posted as to outcome , maybe learn something new !
Thanks !!
