Timing Belt Cover
« on: May 09, 2011, 04:46:00 PM »

I need a new timing belt cover for my '92 Capri as it appears that mine looks warped and is not sealing properly.  The rubber gasket is out of the channel that it sets in and I can look down through the top and see the timing belt.  Is this part also available from Mazda?  As the B6 engine was used on the Mazda Miata as well as other Mazdas around the time period the Capri was made, I find it unusual that I have not had any luck on the internet so far.

The gasket I think might be discontinued - but it's worth checking to see if it's stocked somewhere.

The Miata used a totally different valvecover & timing cover - so the gasket is specific to the capri/323
