Title: Timing Marks

My Water ump started leaking, so taking the boards advice, I bought a timing belt/Water Pump kit off of eBay. I asked my friend to install it. The water pump/tensioner install went ok but now we can't set the timing.

I was looking for a step by step procedure and found a couple of them. However they don't match.

Can you tell me if this is the write timing mark   Procedure (http://www.findmeabuyer.com/car/capritiming.pef)

Or can you tell me where to put the timing marks to set the timing properly.

Feel free to talk to me like an idiot.
