i now have oil dripping out of my intake tube where it clamps to my turbo,also when i run up the rpm's on about 6 psi of boost it will smoke like a bitch,but then drive it normal again it will clear up in a few seconds,is this a bad turbo seal and can i replace the seals myself or do i need to send the turbo out to a repair shop.

Your turbo is bad. I would highly recommend having a shop rebuild it, it might not be rebuildable though. Replacing the turbo is another option.

If you're up to it there are kits with new bearings and seals but its a pretty involved process and turbos are very fragile.

Hey Rock! It's like Rocket says, you're at the first stage of turbo madness. Don't boost up until you have a replacement available if this is your daily driver. Allow a day to change your turbo out and be ready to replace also studs and nuts at the flanges. Those should be available at most any parts store and are not expensive. There are a few turbo builders that work through the mail if you don't have a local. It is not recommended to try yourself if you're not very mechanical minded. The turbo vanes are very fragile. And the assembly needs balancing by a very specialized machine.  Good Luck! Gus
