lol my gauge cluster only works when my passenger door is open. any ideas on how to fix this?

Hell... i say make a off-road worthy capri... i know i've gone off road a few times and all i've done is: break 3 alternators, bust a hole in a power steering line, crack my windshield, break 2 power window motors, stuck headlight, missing lugnuts, obliterated a timing belt, snapped a control arm...

damn... over the years i've beat the living shit out of my car

edit: not to mention rust on every metal body panel and a fender that's almost rusted away

and there was a time my dad dropped a log onto the hood and when an suv backed over my car in a parking lot....

Ha only the spedo works, none of the idiot lights work nor any on the other gages

inspect the harness at the door and behind the wall...possible u have a shorted harness and when the door is open the wires move and not touch or ground out.


did you check all the fuses as well?
