1993 XR2 @ Cardomain

Finished Pics

I thought what the hell I'll make a cardomain site.  I will be putting these pics up on my regular site on Geocities but for now I'll use Cardomains bandwidth

For some reason it doesn't show up in the listings when I search for it.  Is there a trick to get it to show up there?  I will also have a site for my 2001 Galant up there soon, it's at ID 2nerfixx   Just have a pic of my clears on my XR2 on there right now.  ENJOY!

Here's a peek at the new IC install.  Still waiting on a few j-bends because a few in my order were crappy quality and the shop sent them back.  That's kind of shitty but I don't want them putting crap in this car so I guess it's good.

I threw the bumper on to take the pic so you could get an idea.  Enjoy!

It's a nice car you've got.
I like the color.

So how fast is it exactly?

I'm curious to seen once the IC and piping is all done.  I'm going to be running a moderate 11-12psi first and see how my a/f ratio is, then the fun will begin.  I will take more pics when more progress is done.  I'm really excited about it.  I picked up the Starion IC in town from a guy that was going to use it on his 2G eclipse turbo but needed the money so I picked it up for $150.  There is plenty of room for upgrades behind that bumber guys.  It will of course need a custom install for brackets, mounting, and new piping though.  I'm upgrading to all 2.5" piping I believe we'd talked about.  I'll keep updated pics posted.

I'm running an Autometer Phantom gauge in my pillar pod, along with the Phantom boost gauge.  I'm looking for a good deal on the EGT to match but they are pretty expensive with the probe and all.

OK, here are a few more pics for everyone to enjoy.  The shop got the jbends back and are getting things back together.  These are the pics the owner sent me, I didn't take these, but I did have to edit the shit out to them to make them look how they do now and the sizes that they are.  Any questions just shoot.

In one of the pictures, the IC is just zipped tied in, I assume they were test fitting there.  It's mounted in the others.  I think it looks awesome so far, let me know what you think.

Looks great. Is that a custom IC or is it from some other car? I want to install one like that....

One sugestion, acnt u put the licencse plate on the side of the bumper ? Like that it will not get in the way of the wind to the IC...

Thanks.  The IC is from a Starion/Conquest.  It's kind of custom though because we moved the inlet/outlet pipes so they are going out the sides vs out the top.  Yes, I have contemplated the idea of moving that plate over.  I'm also probably going to take my Dremel and cut some openings underneath the bumber where the IC is because as you can see, there are large amounts of the IC being covered up with the bumper on.

I think if you decide to cut get the razzi front bumper instead. That will give you a larger opening and still look right.

Yea, I have thought about that, but I'm trying to keep it as stock looking, as long as possible.  I will decide that kind of decision before I get the body work and  paint, which probably will be after winter.  I have some more engine mods I want to achieve over the colder months.  The "cutting" I would be doing, you wouldn't be able to see it unless you lay on the ground and look up.  I'm not cutting anything that is visible from the front or side for that matter.
