I'm actually installing light tan leatherette everywhere there's charcoal vinyl/plastic right now, I'll keep it all updated.

That'd really be interesting.  I'd love to do that with a burgundy leatherette.  Please do keep me updated.

It's actually really easy to work with - until you get a huge freaking corner, like the middle of the dash or the doorpanels.

But exactly where would you buy this and all the materials needed?

Fabric stores. Yeah they still exist. Joanns a big chain. You may feel weird though shopping. Almost all their customers are old women who are there because they make their own clothes. ...just like in the olden days.

Woodseal Contact Cement, brush on - Walmart
3m Super 77 Spray Adhesive - O'Reilly Auto Parts
Hair Dryer - mom's/wife's side of the bathroom
Vinyl - One guy said he got this at Walmart, I haven't had any luck there, Joann Fabrics has a lot, but what bizarre colors!  I found the exact tan color I was looking for at a privately owned store that sells fabric for interior decorators in Dallas called Fabric Yard (awesome prices, though!) But I found it purely by accident.

The molding work came out really nice, I would have gone with a different color after smoothing everything though...without the moldings it looks kinda "bubble-gum ish" IMO. Azure Blue would have been a GREAT choice! Similar to the original color, but a little darker and sleeker.

Are you going to do the front as well?

Thanx. The front will not be done, atleast that bumper wont anyway. Richter either wants to replace it with that clubsprint front (which I dont like) or find some ricey front bumper and fabricate it to fit the capri. I like the 94 or razzi bumper, but he wont listen to me. I think its because he knows the trim would still remain present and he would have to do that same labor he did for the back bumper, which was a huge pain.

And as for the color, Richter already exlained the reason why he chose to keep it, door jams, engine bay, and such.

The razzi kit, in my opinion, is too generic.  It looks so close to the car, yet it's even more square and has that ricy look to it.

I feel bad enough as it is that I have a free flowing exhaust which has such a sound that it annoys pedestrians and makes them cover their ears. =P

I haven't ever seen this done, but someone told me there's a thing called an 'expander' for the exhaust that gives it a deeper, more rumbly sound, more like a bigger v6 or something than a hornets nest.

I think you are thinking of megaphones.  They are a large tip that was big back in the '80s.
