swap in a good igniter and see if that helps anything.
this is not suggesting to test the igniter you have in your car, or making an educated guess that it's a good igniter in your car, or watching the tach, etc etc
This is a suggestion to swap in a good igniter and see if that helps anything. The real fun dilemma to this suggestion is that MANY brand new from the factory igniters do not work. I am unaware that a brand or source or manufacturer specific to the "dead as new" or "dead on delivery" igniters has been determined. So...good luck. No sarcasm implied anywhere in this post.
If anyone gets or has gotten a dead new igniter, please let me know (or post) any info you have on it including price and pictures if possible. Thanks.
