SSV?  Good Luck!!  They won't even answer emails, or deal with you unless you call.  Shipping will be VEEEEERY expensive!!
But.....if it does work out, I'd be up for some Roadster covers, and wings, as well as a 'Sprint rear bumper!!

Well, give it a shot, and let us know what happens!!  It has been tried a number of times over the past few years with the same results, but maybe if we keep pounding it into their heads that we actually want these parts, then maybe they will respond positively.

I would like a carbon fiber hood with more aggressive looks, and a nice body kit.

Somewhat, I already checked out your stuff.

Looks really good! Do you have aim or anything? Check out my thread in the xr2 section.

I checked it out!  I like the "suede" paint!
Just out of curiosity, did you check out my tail light panel?  If so, what did you think of them? If these were available to purchase, what would you expect to pay for them? I'm Just doing a little market research!! (Same question goes to everyone on this forum who reads this!)

The red one? If so I was going to ask how much you wanted for one hah!

Fiberglass? Do they come with the taillights? How does it mount?

I'd say with tail lights, I would charge 150 or so?

They are made of fiberglass, and they mount just like the stock ones. They do not come with lights, as there are just to many options available (4" round) to please everyone.  The lights in it now were $120 a set. I bought similar ones, but LED, for $150 a set. That's just for the lights. I am shooting for $225 +/-, for the panel.

The wing is a "Roadster Wing". So far, it's only available in AU. Notice I said "so far".

ANYONE KNOW A GOOD AND  TRUSTWORTHY FIBERGLASS GUY?????

One dark and stormy night I was approached by a drunken Koala bear, who said "Psssst...wanna buy a wing??"

I ordered it online probably 5 years ago.  it cost me $600 with shipping, and to top it off, it arrived broken in half.  Cost me another 250 to fix.
I don't remember what company it was, but it was not SSV.

Not that I've found.  But like I said before, if anyone knows someone who can do fiberglass molds, and is trustworthy, then perhaps we can get something going........

If we could find someone to do carbon fiber too, I'd love to have a hood similar to yours, tail light panel, and wing in carbon fiber!

unfortunately to get your hands on a carbon fiber one, you'll first have to buy a fiberglass from russ then make your own.  russ is weird this way and doesn't want anybody that have a car just like his... ever

all the tail lights look like are from the skyline, you can get a set of them and do some work and have the same look i think

Nope!  Not Skyline!!  I DO plan on bringing these to the Capri market. And, again, the goal is to price them no more than $250. The only issue now is the $6000 it will take to have the first 10 made (multiple molds = lots-o-cash).

CapriTypeR can you post some more info on those tail lights and maybe a close up photo ... would be great to see.
I bought a F40 wing off eBay for $70 but havn't fitted it as I'm not sure if they add to the looks of the car.

If your going for the 'Clubsprint look' you definitly need to remove that crappy SA boot lid brake light and replace with one of these : http://cgi.ebay.com.au/FORD-CAPRI-CLUB-SPRINT-BOOT-BRAKE-LIGHT-NEW_W0QQitemZ260516623388QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Car_Parts_Accessories?hash=item3ca800341c (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/FORD-CAPRI-CLUB-SPRINT-BOOT-BRAKE-LIGHT-NEW_W0QQitemZ260516623388QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Car_Parts_Accessories?hash=item3ca800341c)

i personally say track down a 94 bumpers...you can get the whole car cheaper then ordering the body kit. and the kits are half covers...not even replacements. plus you will get the lights and interior bits as well...

if not have something custom made...cost will be the same and product will be 1 of a kind. i just can see paying 700 for the crappy kits here in the states..when for less you might pick up a whole car
