Can you please tell me what kind of sound deadener are you'e using ?

Have you had experience with it ?   How well does it work, how much, etc ?

I've never had much luck with sound deadener actually deadening any sound.

this is why you should buy REAL 0AWG wire thats good

LEft to right, Rockford fosgate 4AWG wire, Shitty 0ga i bought last year when i relocated batter, and good 0AWG welding cable, this is the roots of my electrical problems, buying all new wire to run for main power

quick update on the car, i got my ground wire upgraded finally soon doing the power wire got a nice beefy kicker battery terminal thanks to best buy reward money :) car is gutted and ready to be cleaned for sound deadner and you can see i have a very tiny car with not alot of room to work with

wires are 0AWG welding wire and 4AWG rockford for the amps

the lonely battery

big hole from trunk to cabin was a peice of cloth but i added some fiberglass and will cover in some sound deadner to seal up

cloth that is being glassed

thats where the actual box is going

floor to be covered

door to be covered as well as other side of course

here are some pictures of what i have done so far

trunk lid, it looks like its peeling but its the angle

Box inside the car, panels are in and seats and seat belts are in still need to put the cover on the top and the boxes in for the midbass drivers

back of the trunk, turned out pretty good the fiberglass is hard as rock and does a good job sealing the trunk up

the lid that coveres the convertable top when top is down and holds the bubble top

area were top goes

amps

bubble top

doors all done, it doesnt look as good as i seen other people do but it no longer rattles
thats all i have for now more soon

got some more done today, got my mid bass drivers in the mail today boxes cut ready to be assembled ( didn't have any glue ) and got 2 coats of bondo on the pods and somewhat sanded

im very pleased with the speakers since i paid 35 a piece for them, the rubber surround is very soft and does not have a very strong suspension but i did a couple free air test and no problems should sound good once in the box, box will be .27 cu/ft before displacement of speaker

those panels arent map pockets anymore !!! :)

the pods aren't SUPER thick but very strong don't move a bit but once they get cut open i will be soaking in some more resin where the cloth didn't soak all the way through and then one more coat of glass to finish her off.

more updates as they come, hopefully not to much longer till shes done

got some more done today was going to do more but those in Michigan can understand why

Almost ready for paint, using black truck bed liner

got them cut open to find the resin didnt soak all the way trough the fleece so we will put some more in to add even more strength to the rock solid pod

got these boxes made for the midbass drivers

more to come i dont know about the 7" driver yet might switch to the 8" we will see once in car

well right when im about to to do some work on my car i get stricken with plague ... uhg but feeling better now and it starts to snow but heres whats going on the Capri, took the stock one out and MAN does the engine bay look ALOT better

the old

The new

old vs new, each fan moves 1500 CFM so that will be 3000 total CFM dont know what stock is but hopefully these work better than stock, will be mounted in the bumper as pushers not pullers

got some work done finally now the the weather is barely tolerable....

using 2x 10" slim fans pushing, car sat at idle for a long time and held a steady temp so all things work, also got the dual stage boost controller hooked up and i love it!
