Title: 1994 N/A sloppy shifter

Whats involved in tightening up my 5sp shifter in my 1994 N/A Capri?  It flops around pretty bad but not causing missed shifts or grinding gears.  Thanks!

You have to replace the nylon bushings. That consists of raising the vehicle so you can work freely under it and safely.  I bought my  replacement bushings at Napa for about 10$
 It's not that difficult to replace. You might run into a frozen nut or bolt. But after you remove the shifter link it's pretty simple to replace em.
