Bronze shifter bushings

JimmyGermany:
Well, I ordered and have the CorkSport ones and they need embiggening.
Got my mitts on a 13/32 drill, and will try my luck tomorrow.
Cheers!
James

JimmyGermany:
Gentlemen!

Just got the "new" shifter linkage installed, with the bronze bushings.
A world of difference. The movements are much shorter and very little slop.

Cheers
James

Now you need to lengthen the shifter rod about 18mm to create a short shifter.

i know this is a 2 year old thread..but Ive replaced the shifter bushing with the nylon ones I purchased from Napa Auto Parts and still have considerable slop in the shifter.  I would love to do this bronze bushing upgrade.  How many of the 882992 flange bearings are needed?  Is it just the one for that bolt sleeve and if so where can I get the bronze bushings to replace the nylon ones?  The bolt used was a 10mm x ?  Thanks!

greywolf27030:
Did you replace the bushings in all three places?
