Title: Anyone familiar with partsgeek.com?
Post by: mr_gr1mm on November 10, 2021, 08:14:38 PM
I just discovered this website and... Holy shit. This is like the holy grail of aftermarket capri parts. Not too expensive and they have more parts than I've ever seen for the capri. So naturally I think this site is fraudulent in some way. Has anyone ever heard of or used this site before? I'm hoping to god that it's legit.. would be nice to have e a place I can buy my parts from.

Looks a bit fishy to me. There are a fair number of parts listed that are not for our capri, such as the differential and power window relays.
The oil pumps look correct but the parts descriptions on several of them don't specify a date range, which is needed
Many things are listed, but out of stock so that's no help
Honestly it looks like a generic parts aggregator website
Just browsing I don't see anything they have that Rockauto doesn't carry, and RA is super legit

Googling "is partsgeek legit" does not turn up particularly fond reviews
I'd proceed with caution with that site

I checked into it earlier and the actual parts prices ended up being higher than shown by 50%.
