Has anyone successfully used this kit?  Any fit issues?

Rear struts did not fit. This is the kyb kit, right ?
Thought it would.
Front struts are still in the box , but same stock # for Mazda and Capri

Kyb struts don't work for the rear? Which struts fit in the rear?

I ordered some struts for an 88 merc tracer, I'll let you know how they fit. It looks like the only difference is the rear, the brake lines bolt to a tab with a stud welded to it instead of using a U-clip. That's easy enough for me to work around

Haven't fitted them yet, im far behind on my maintenance this year. I dont anticipate any issues with them though.

This fits perfectly. Even with the h@r lowering springs.

Quite inexpensive as well.
