I was just wondering what kind of emissions testing you guys were having to dodge in your state...
Here in kentucky, thare is no emissions or emissions testing, and thare is no limit how free you flow, or how rich you run...
the festiva ran an open downpipe its whole life.
and my capri runs 2 resonators (perforated not slotted or chamfered)
look through the resonator it should look like a screen of small holes. not a bunch of little slots. theese make exhaust tumble and limit flow where a perforated one only muffles when flow is low and when flow is sped up it blows past the little holes ( it took us a little while to figure that one out...)
so here basicly you can scrap all emissions and noone will ever say a word.
the only real thing we need to watch out for on fri and sat nights is noise. allong with the bass lovin Gs. lexington has noise violation for overly obscene loud cars.. but nothing is said about emissions...
here we only need 1 liscense plate too.. 1 on the back is all that is issued or required.
makes our cars have a really clean front end ..
im originally from maine, where emissions are big, i was used to really restricted cars, when i moved down here after the army.. i was very impressed with the power the cars made and how they sounded...
well i was just wondering what you guys were battling in your home states..drop a line and tell me about it..
