i finally got the capri today and started working on cleaning it up, it has a home made boost controller that i think it bad, i want to set the car back up to stock so i can go do emissions to get the plate. can someone post a photo of the engine bay and color code the hoses so i can see where each one is suppost to go to. i hope this fixes the problem it has. it may be the turbo though. the car will stumble and go past 10psi and hit the cut off. the boost gauge will go but there is no boost. i hear a funky noise then you can feel the boost kick in. i am hoping it is a leaky boost controller thats why i want to set it all back to factory. fingers crossed. photo will help me a lot

ha ha...

i got it figured out. i went to the guys house i bought it from and he had another one there and i just matched them up..

so not the over boosting and fuel cut problem is gone. the car only had like 2 lines that were correct. crazy. but i still think the turbo is gone. it lacks power and i hear a grinding noise coming from the center of the car under acceleration.

but i think it will be good enough to attempt emissions testing now
